Be a-Mazed at our stone carving workshops
The Friends of Dalby Forest are working with Mark Ellis, a local dry stone waller, to create the world’s largest Dry Stone Wall Maze – hidden deep in the heart of Dalby Forest.
You can be part of this enormous and exciting project! Here’s how:
- Learn how to carve your initials into a stone, under the expert guidance of local artisan Charles Smith. Your stone will be built into the maze as an everlasting memento. For stone carving workshop dates, prices and to book places visit www.drystonewallmaze.com/product/stone-carving-workshop
- Another way to be involved is to buy a stone and know that your contribution will go directly towards the construction of the walls. Once completed, you’ll be able to search for your initialled stone in the maze itself! http://drystonewallmaze.com/buy-a-stone
Stay in touch with the Friends of Dalby Forest www.friendsofdalbyforest.org.uk for workshop updates and for progress on the construction visit www.drystonewall.maze.com Thank you for your support!
