A Bit About York

York is a walled city in northeast England that was founded by the ancient Romans. With it's huge 13th-century Gothic cathedral, York Minster, City Walls forming a walkway on both sides of the River Ouse and The Monk Bar gate houses exhibiting the life of 15th-century Plantagenet King Richard III, the city is bursting with history and culture ready for you to come and explore.
