A comedy favourite has just announced a show at Scarborough Spa next year.

German Comedy Ambassador Henning When will bring ‘Westphalia Is Not An Option’ to Scarborough Spa’s theatre on Friday 24 November 2017.

After his last show tackled those well-known staples of light entertainment that are the British obsession with home ownership and the self-serving nature of most fundraising efforts, this time Henning’s having an unbiased look at immigration.

Henning was winner of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year award in 2005 and has been a guest on multiple panel shows including ‘Would I Lie To You’, ‘QI’ and ‘8 Out Of 10 Cats’.

With sold out shows across the country for 2017, the show at Scarborough Spa is currently the only Yorkshire date on the Autumn leg of the tour.

Jo Ager, General Manager of Scarborough Spa said “This is a great addition to our 2017 comedy programme. Henning will be added to a growing list of well-known comedians who will visit the venue, including Ross Noble, Al Murray: The Pub Landlord, Roy Chubby Brown, Jimmy Carr and Jack Dee in ‘I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue’.”
