A succession of popular artists have thrilled our Party in the Park crowds, but perhaps the most iconic has been Scouting for Girls, who rocked Riverside One back in July 2016. We’ve been asking them back ever since, so we are delighted to announce they will be hitting the stage once again this July.

As one of the most popular British Pop-Rockers in recent years, Scouting for Girls has racked up an impressive list of achievements since 2005. A string of top-twenty singles including 'Heartbeat', 'Elvis ain't dead' and 'She's so lovely', plus their number one hit 'This ain't a love song', have been supported by four Brit Awards nominations and an MTV Europe Music Award nomination for best new act.

Scouting for Girls has also enjoyed four successful albums, including their 2008 chart-topper, the self-titled Scouting for Girls. So, it is little wonder they are still incredibly popular across the UK and Europe.

Scouting for Girls are now BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND at Flamingo Land, and will be headlining their evening concert at on Saturday 29th July.

They are also now pleased to be able to announce the acts supporting at this concert are:

Ste, Richie & Eoghan - Ireland's hottest new boyband. Fresh from their European Tour supporting The Vamps and recently selling out their Headline show at The Historic Olympia venue in Dublin and The 02 Forum in London.

The UK’s Number 1 Tribute Band to Mumford & Sons and folkpop party band. This 5-piece band of multi instrumentalists with amazing vocal harmonies are sure to get the party started.

Other acts include X Factor's Beth Brookes, O’Brien Hesson & Ultimate Jess Glynne the UK’s No 1 Tribute show and many more.

“The evening entertainment at our outdoor venue starts at 6pm with our Farewell Show starring our very own Mia and Mylo meerkat mascots and acrobatic group the Spice Pirates. before our music acts get the crowd dancing the night away” said Sarah Mills Director of Marketing at Flamingo Land Resort.  Scouting for Girls also enjoyed a number one hit with 'This ain't a love song' and had four successful albums including the 2008 hit, the self-titled Scouting for Girls.  It is little wonder that the band is incredibly popular across the UK and Europe.

“We want to remind our day visitors that this entertainment is included in their theme park ticket price as well as for season pass holders and Holiday Village guests including those camping, or you can book a late theme park entrance at 5pm for £10, which along with enjoying the rides for an hour also includes the evening concert.  Both ticket types are available on our website now.”

Scouting for Girls are one of the most popular British Pop-Rockers in recent years so it is no wonder that the Flamingo Land crowd loved their performance in July 2016 and have been requesting their return every since.

With its spectacular illuminated waterfall and all-weather stage, Riverside One entertainment arena also features a choice of great bars and restaurants allowing you to make the most of your day with a delicious meal, ice cold beer or a selection of tempting snacks.
