Clubbers are being asked to dig deep into their pockets for local good causes at an upcoming dance event at Scarborough Spa.

On Saturday 11th August, Remix Events will descend on Scarborough, bringing international dance event Clubland Classix to North Yorkshire for the very first time.

Dance fans can expect to see chart toppers Ultrabeat, Flip N Fill and more at the iconic Scarborough Spa in what is anticipated to be one of the highlights of the year for music fans in the area.

The event will also help raise much needed funds for two local charities: Liam Critchett’s Next Step and the Scarborough Lifeboat.

Remix promotions manager Danny Williams said “The reaction to us coming to Scarborough has been nothing short of overwhelming, we have sold over 85% of tickets already with 40% of them coming from outside the town.

We have always wanted to bring something to this area and we are so pleased to be working with Scarborough Spa to make that happen and would like to thank everyone involved in making the event possible.

Because of this, we wanted to give something back to the local community for the warm welcome and what better way than to support a service that can affect everyone at some point in their lives and one to which local people are proud of such as the Scarborough Lifeboat.

When the Scarborough Spa heard of our plans they then informed us of local lad Liam Critchett’s cause and we wanted to get involved to help along the already outstanding fund-raising efforts.
